I have a E80 machine and a basic rotary attachment that consists of just a nema stepper motor and rollers. My question is, if I buy the 5 pin lead and the 5 pin to 4 pin board, will this operate my nema driven rotary attachment?
If the motor line sequence is inconsistent, it will not work.
Hi Jim. Thanks for the speedy reply. I’m sorry to ask but can you please explain what you meant in your reply? I’m not well informed about stepper motors or the equipment that controls them. I have 3 rotary attachments, all of them consist of a nema 17 that I plug into the Y axis feed on my atomstack. All do similar things but I made 2 of them for special purposes. What I want to do is ditch the atomstack and use the E80 for everything but without a rotary feature I can’t. I’m using lightburn to control the lasers if this is important. If you can tell me in simple terms if this can be done or if I’m wasting my time I would be very grateful. Thank you so much for your help in this matter. Best regards, Tim Clegg.
