*UPGRADE* NEJE maestro 2S Max 30W

Hello everybody! If you clicked on this post, it’s probably because you’re looking for some information about upgrading your NEJE 2S Max, or maybe you have some solid advice on how to help me upgrade this machine.

I’ll go straight to the point. I have a 30W laser on my NEJE 2S Max, and it doesn’t cut at all. I’m looking for something that can cut 10 mm MDF. Is there any module or upgrade I can do to make this happen?

I’m using LightBurn as my software, and trust me, I’ve tried every single combination to make it work…

Thanks a lot! I hope someone can help me :slightly_smiling_face:

You could go a higher powered module. the E80 is approx 22-24w output, but much heavier, and it is 24v. Your current module is 12v and 7.5w output (For comparison.)

I think (not sure) that the control PCB on the 2s is 12v.
You could power the module (E80) off 24v and only use the TTL (PWM) wire, and ground from your control board. Don’t get that wrong though.

Air assist will help your current module.

Make sure you have the focus spot on..

Longer focus (its adjustable) should be better for cutting the thicker material.

And lots of passes.

I have an NEJE master 20 W laser. Is there a software update available for it and if so, how do I find it and install it.
