Доброго времени суток! Скажите, пожалуйста, могу ли я подключить Neje master 2s по Bluetooth с ноутбука или ПК на Windows? (Не используя провод, не получается)
NEJE software can
Hey @Jim , @JackWong I searched everywhere for a detailed instruction on how to connect Neje 2S Max via bluetooth to Windows 10 PC. Could you please provide detailed instructions? The device is discoverable when I search for available bluetooth devices but it would not pair. In Neje software the following error message appears:
With USB everything works fine.
Would much appreciate your help and wish you and your team great business on Monday 11.11)

Do you have other control software open?
Sorry, NEJE 2S series devices do not support connecting to a computer via Bluetooth.
Hey @Jim Many thanks for getting back to me this fast on Sunday! No, I don’t have any other control software open. Also I should notice that Stage 3 in the troubleshooting guide that you linked to in your reply doesn’t mention any issues with setting up bluetooth on Windows, it does address only Android problems. Blue LED on the device is ON when I am connecting to discovered bluetooth device in Windows yet it could not pair. Any other tips would be much appreciated.
@JackWong Thanks a lot for making it clear. After spending a night on it I am just curious if there is a way to hack around it?
With Google Translate I found a hint for a solution. A guy in Neje fans group in Russian VK wrote that he got a workaround for Neje 3 https://vk.com/neje.guru - NEJE Master | VK

Good day!
I bought a Neje 3 laser machine and work in the LaserGRBL and Lightburn programs. The essence of the appeal is the following - is it possible to connect the machine via Bluetooth and how to do this in a laptop, the device is detected but does not pair. When it connects from a smartphone only through the APK application, I cannot bind the device in this application.

I connected everything through the neje application, everything works great, if you want to tell someone how, write to PM, I leave a comment for communication, because I myself was looking for an answer to this question.

As you see the solution was not shared publicly, yet I can’t help but wonder if maybe it is possible to work around it with com0com - a kernel-mode virtual serial port driver for Windows that allows you to create virtual serial port pairs. It would be great if you could share your thoughts on it.
@LaserG
Hi,
For NEJE 3/4/5 series devices, you can use the bridge to achieve Bluetooth connection. The address of the guide is here, which is the com0com you just mentioned.
https://wiki.neje99.com/en/manual/conn-bridge
However, for NEJE 1/2/2S series devices, Bluetooth connection to windows is not supported. This is because the control instructions of these devices are different.
In fact, you can simply buy a NEJE 5 control board to upgrade your device to NEJE 5. The new motherboard is compatible with your existing machine. The new motherboard has faster speed and larger capacity. It can support 256MB offline work. You can buy the motherboard at neje.shop.
Hey @JackWong Thanks for your continuous support and hope 11.11 is going great for you! Your suggestion with a new Neje 5 motherboard is much appreciated but it looks like it’s not readily available in my area. I’ll look into it’s availability with overseas shipping. Really excited about 256Mb and increased speed.
In the meantime I am considering wireless USB bridging with something like
http://handheldsci.com/kb/ - Bluetooth Adapter and a USB to USB Bridge
or Wireless USB Hub | How to Extend USB Over WiFi
It looks like Wireless Extender for USB™ Cameras / Microphones / Speakers – j5create would do the trick yet it’s twice more expensive than a new motherboard… some cheaper options are https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/rival-650-usb-wireless-transmitter-and-adapter and Amazon.com yet I am not sure about compatibility.
Would you be so kind please to suggest a supported wireless USB extender from Alibaba, Aliexpress or any other store.
It’s a pity that old Neje forum is down, I am sure there were gems of knowledge on the subject.
Thank you
Your device seems to be far away from your computer, so you want to use a USB to WIFI converter.
I don’t recommend this, wireless may cause stability problems, I think USB is always the fastest and most stable.
If your device is far away, you can buy a longer USB cable. When it exceeds 3m, please add a USB HUB to prevent USB signal distortion.
I have heard that some customers have implemented your function on Raspberry Pi, you can learn more about it.
We are planning to use wifi connection for the next generation of products, but this is still under development and may take a long time (12-24 months). In the future, you can still buy a new motherboard to upgrade the wifi connection.
@JackWong My device is not too far away, it’s just in next room with ventilation and laser light protection but making a cable connection is not an option. I’ll get a new motherboard in 4-6 weeks. It’s great to heart that next generation will come with wifi.
In the meantime could you please share a link for a cheap compatible bluetooth or wifi USB extender? Thank you in advance!
I have never used a bluetooth or wifi USB extender, so I can’t give you any advice, and I don’t know if your wifi extender is compatible with the NEJE 5 control board. What I can tell you is that the NEJE 5 uses the generic USB CDC protocol.
If you just want to give your computer Bluetooth capabilities, all you need is a BT USB dongle, which costs only a few dollars. (This is probably not the question you’re asking)
You can use a USB extension cable and connect it to a BT USB dongle, so that you can transmit the Bluetooth signal far away, which is also a good solution
@JackWong I see, welp gotta lurk more.
Yeah, right, I want to give Neja 2 BT or WiFi capability to communicate with a PC.
As for your last suggestion, do you think Neje 2 board might recognize receiver of some BT dongle as USB input? I doubt it, but anyway many thanks for your tips.
For NEJE 2 series devices, it is unlikely to be recognized, because NEJE 2 series devices do not use USB CDC, but use WCH CH340 serial port chip, which requires a dedicated driver. It is unlikely to achieve your idea.
Right, that’s why you have to install Neja 2 drivers for Windows so that the signal would be interpreted for WCH CH340, so my only option is wireless USB extender (BT or WiFi) with a receiver with external power source.
