NEJE E40 Progressive Laser Power Loss – Warranty and Diagnosis Request

Hello NEJE Support,

I am experiencing a significant loss of cutting power with my NEJE E40 laser module, which I have been using for nearly two years.

The laser gradually became weaker over several months, and the problem has become much worse in recent months.

Current symptoms and settings:

  • Material: 5 mm plywood

  • Laser power: 85%

  • Cutting speed: 300 mm/min

  • Passes required: More than 15

  • Air assist: An external air compressor is being used to blow air directly onto the cutting area.

  • Cooling fan: Operating normally

  • Protective window: Replaced with a new one, but there was no improvement.

  • Power adapter: Original adapter supplied with the unit.

The module previously cut this material much more effectively, so I suspect a hardware failure or a problem with the laser output or power delivery.

Could you please advise me on the following:

  1. The correct diagnostic procedure for my E40 version.

  2. Whether the laser module or its driver can be tested for reduced output power.

  3. Whether the unit is eligible for warranty repair or replacement, considering that I have been using it for nearly two years.

  4. The appropriate next steps if the module has failed.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate the original purchase receipt. However, I can provide photographs of the module and power adapter labels, the serial number, and a video demonstrating the cutting problem.

I would appreciate your technical advice and assistance in resolving this issue.

Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,
