Why am I unable to see type chinese characters in Work space?

This is Simon, I send email requesting for advise with Neje software 6.9. currently using Neje-5. I have no problem typing english text and engraver into application workspace. But when I “add language” Chinese (Simplified), I type chinese text, no problem to see the correct chinese character but it do not appear in the design 'Work Space" as it only appear a enter square for each chinese character.
