is E40 compatible with Neje Max 3 (V1)

Hello I have a Neje Max 3 and I would like to add the E40.

The E40 has a 4 pin connector for PWM and a 2 pin connector for the power supply , but the motherboard of the Neje Max3 has only a 4 pin connector out for the laser ( originaly shipped with the 40640 V1) it’s missing the 12V two pin connector.

Is there a way to make it work ? or do I have to get a Neje Max3 V2 or a Neja Max 4 to use the E40 ?

Can be directly connected to E40, 4pin port

The red/black wires on the 4-pin connector bring 12v power to the E40. The 2 pin is a parallel path to supply power if for some reason you need to use a separate supply.
