I use the A40640 module for cutting. While the module was working properly, I used the following parameters: power 25%, speed 600mm/min (10mm/sec) 1-2 passes. I usually cut leather 1.5-2.5mm. Airflow does not work wonders in my opinion, but it does make the cut thinner and more accurate. I had no experience with other modules from neje, but I have a non-name laser module from aliexpress supposedly at 5.5w, and it really is not enough to cut anything other than thin cardboard, only engraving. Perhaps this is because there are no 5.5w. Have you dealt with laser machines before or is this your first machine? Sorry for bad English.
