Been trying to cut plywood 6mm as test but can not get any cut. I have been using Neje software .Lightburn and lazerGRBL. I am not using air assistans.
Can anyone give a hint, settings etc…
There are many factors that affect the cutting effect, including material properties, material density, focusing accuracy, cutting speed, cutting power, and air-assisted accuracy and air pressure strength; cutting MDF density boards needs to meet 3 conditions, and air-assisted (0.8mpa- 1.5mpa), the focus is accurate, the speed can not be too slow, the speed will burn the edge.

I have same machine, and using light burn also, often cutting 5mm ply and other wood. My settings is 600 speed, 100 power, and 8 passes. If wood to stronger, adding more passes. And if wood 5mm I’m setting focus 3mm deep. And if wood start burning sometimes im adding speed to 800 and more passes. And I don’t have air assist also. Good luck
